Directors Lab West is an 8-day summer intensive for stage directors and choreographers. Part conference, part workshop, part focused discussion, all theatre, and all fun! The Lab provides a place for directors and choreographers to meet and exchange ideas. As a VPA, your responsibilities will consist of supporting the day to day logistics of the Lab, collaborating with the production team to ensure conference and workshops run smoothly for participants. As a VPA, you will have the unique opportunity to learn from and collaborate with Directors Lab West creative team and participants throughout the Lab week. This volunteer position is available to any early-career theatre creator or student interested in production and on-sight support throughout the lab. All VPAs are expected to be available in Los Angeles, CA throughout Saturday, May 20- Saturday, May 27, 2023. This Volunteer Production Assistant position is unpaid volunteer, and housing/travel will not be provided.
